Largest German speaking AFOL community with more than 50.000 registered forum accounts and over 650 paying members. The community acts across Germany and has members from many other European countries. 1000steine was founded in 1999 when there were little possibilities to buy individual LEGO elements anywhere in Germany. Thus the initial intention was to offer LEGO elements in larger quantities to LEGO enthusiasts. In 2000 the first German speaking LEGO forum was integrated and thus 1000steine.de evolved to be the largest German speaking community for Adult Fans of LEGO. Every month the MOC of the Month is elected by all visitors, there is a market place for members to buy and sell LEGO, a LEGO elements shop and a large archive of all MOCs ever presented. Besides many forum sections there are also open and closed groups which form interest groups (e.g. Monorail) or organize local events (e.g. meetings, evening events etc.). 1000steine runs the 1000steine Insel event every two years on the German holiday resort island Langeoog, together with Steinstark e.V. the Steinstark event, with LauterSteine e.V. the Lauter1000steine event and some smaller events. 1000steine members participate in events all over Germany and Europe! Furthermore until 2015 on 1000steine all images of the brickset database have been hosted for free.

BioniLUG was started in March 2013 by a group of BZPower members who enjoyed attending and displaying at events. We have a strong focus on Bionicle (go figure) and other CCBS building themes as well as other story-driven themes like Ninjago and Nexo Knights. We are not centralized in one specific geographic region, but spread around the world. Many of our activities are centered around LEGO Fan conventions in the US, but we also do smaller shows at MakerFaires and similar events.

Brick à Brack is the biggest french brickfilming community created in 2008 by two friends, Robin and Rémi, fascinated by LEGO bricks and filmmaking. They created an active message board to share their common passion: brickfilming. Since its inception, the website has organized many contests in order to help its members compare their skills, learn and improve together. In 2012, with the help of a larger staff, Brick à Brack decided to refresh and upgrade its forum experience with a new community-centered website. Ever since the website has kept growing and now brings about 1300 fans together. In 2015 we chose to be a part of many LEGO exhibitions in France to spread our passion: the art of LEGO stop-motion animations. In January 2017 we became an official association.
