  • Change in timing and program of the online AFOL Day in LEGO House on September 24th

    Jan Beyer

    Dear all,

24th September is coming closer and in LEGO House we are getting ready for the very first online LIVE AFOL day. So far more than 1100 people from all over the world have signed up, and we are looking very much forward to welcoming everybody.

If you have not signed up yet you can still do so 😊. Please use this link: https://legohouse.com/da-dk/det-sker/lego-house-fan-day/

Important change of plan - content and timing:

EVP Julia Goldin will participate at the online LIVE AFOL day – and will answer questions directly from the AFOL community. Julia is CMO and EVP heading up the entire product development and marketing organisation in the LEGO Group and to make this happen we have had to change the programme content and timing slightly.

We are so happy to share the new updated programme for the day with you – and hope it does not cause too much confusion.

    See you soon online.

@Jan BeyerFirst I should thank you for having a (kind of) public event, please try to continue with these even after the restrictions are lifted.

Second I'm happy that TLG corporation opened up a little bit and please continue on this track

Yes, I'm talking about the presentation of Bjarke. It was brilliant and based on the on-topic question too short. This kind of information was overdue for a long time and the presentation was top, when Bjarke pulled that flipchart or patted the Sián ...  Please let him present and answer other question, rather sooner then later, even if sometimes it means bad news (like with the milky transparent bricks).

Other speakers were good too, it seems their choice was made on purpose and the moderator was selecting questions that fit. Personally I liked the informational-technical presentation on Instructions and the shorter 'news' presentation.  The more company oriented presentations of Julia and Poul were fine too, but  .... well we get this kind more often, but still there were some interesting information here and there.

I agree, everything was very good, I really enjojed it!

Bjarke's presentation was great... as usual! It's actually the third time I see it, the first a couple of years ago at the AFOL Day at the LEGO House (in person) and then at Fan Media Days earlier this year (as reported on NE). And every time, even though the core of the presentation is always the same, there's a ton of new very interesting information. He should keep like a regular column somewhere. "Quarterly Quality Updates from Bjarke!" 🙂
