  8. The Mapua Easter Fair, Easter Sunday is Nelson Tasman region’s largest fair with over 10,000 visitors each year. You’ll find all your old favourites from a massive range of stalls selling food, crafts and other goods, fairground rides, bouncy castles, the Animal Farm petting zoo, pony rides and more. The Mapua Playcentre will again open its gates so their grounds can provide a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the main area and you’ll find bargains at both our white elephant stall and silent auction. While browsing, drop by the PTA café for some delicious homemade baking or a cup of tea. $2 entry. Further information can be found on the facebook page. The LUG Team Members will be showcasing their Lego creations.

New Zealand's biggest brick show is back again this year. Looking forward to great interaction with other fans of Lego, and extolling the greatness of the Lego brick to the general public!
  11. Exhibitors gathered in Nelson, New Zealand, to display Lego in all it's glory. The two day show, Nov 17th & 18th, was well received by the public in attendance.
  12. A team from LUG 4/2 set up a Lego display at the local Council office. This is a minifigure-scale model of the New Brighton Pier in Christchurch, NZ. This was built for the Christchurch Brick Show earlier this year.
  13. Recently the Greymouth Brick Show was held in Greymouth, New Zealand, on the 20th & 21st October. 10 exhibitors were present, and we had a visitor count of 800, which is pretty good for a township of less than 10,000 people! Funds raised went to donating an EV3 set to the local high school. A small selection of photos. The full story at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1756776754419009/
