    Breeks, in collaboration with Robotics and Science Academy of Crete, as part of the Ministry of Health's "We Stay at Home" campaign to try to limit the spread of COVID-19 (Coronovirus), are organizing a special competition for young and adult fans of LEGO, called: "We Stay Home and Build the Town of Tomorrow". How do you imagine your city will be in a few tens / hundreds / thousands of years? What will be the future of recyclable power plants? We invite you, parents and children alike, to build a city as you imagine it with LEGO® bricks and give you the chance to win fantastic gifts! Build your ideas with Lego bricks and send us photos by email or via our special form on our website (breeks.gr). The duration of the competition is from 15 March 2020 to 26 April 2020 at 23:59. (ATTENTION: The contest was extended!) There will be four (4) entry categories by age: 6-13 years old 14-18 years old 18+ years Parent + child category (collaborative creations) You can use any type of bricks from LEGO® sets such as: LEGO® Duplo®, LEGO® System (City, Super Heroes, Star Wars, Friends, Ninjago etc), LEGO® Mindstorms® (NXT, EV3 etc), Boost®, WeDo ®, Spike® etc or a combination thereof. However, be careful to only use genuine LEGO® bricks and not imitations or other products! All creations will be rated by Breeks members and the creator of the best in each category will receive a LEGO® gift! Note: The contest is available only for residents of Greece.

  3. Photos from Breeks LUG's first exhibition at the 3rd Educational Robotics & STEAM Festival at Heraklion, Crete (Greece).

    Breeks LUG will be actively participating in the 3rd Robotics and STEAM Festival of Crete, which is organized by the Robotics & Science Academy of Crete. This year the festival will take place on the weekend of 28 & 29 September 2019 at the International Exhibition Center of Crete, at Heraklion. Visitors will learn about robotics, particularly Educational Robotics, new technologies, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and experiential learning. The official opening of the festival will take place on the afternoon of Friday, September 27. The festival features: Workshops for kids and adults (at least 100!) Competitions and robotics championship for kids and adults Exhibitions and shows Many other activities Breeks LUG will be present with the following activities: A huge static exhibition of MOCs built by our members. "LEGO brick building technics" workshops for kids and adults. Competitions for kids and adults Interactive games for kids and adults.
