We have the post-BrickCon blues, but we’re heading into the holidays! Date: Saturday, Nov 2, 2019 Time: 1PM to 5PM Location: https://kcls.org/locations/1492/ Draft: TBD Building /Theme Challenge: The Power of 3 - If any of you watched the 1998 - 2006 TV series “Charmed” you might remember it was always the Power of 3, namely the three sisters who were the characters in the show, however, for this month’s challenge we’re doing the power of 9! Since November is the 9th month in the old Roman calendar I thought 3 x 3 is 9! We’re going to use the following elements (any color) to build your MOC for the challenge: 1 x 1 brick 1 x 2 brick 1.x 3 brick 2 x 2 brick 2 x 3 brick 2 x 4 brick 1 plant element 1 animal element 1 minifigure I thought about going easy since we’re in the post-BrickCon blues, but thought it would be a great challenge to keep LEGO gears flowing as we head into the holiday’s and long winter nights! New Members Socializing is the key. So don't be shy, speak up and introduce yourself around! Let's us know if this is your first meeting. It is helpful if you bring a MOC (something you've created, built, or working on) to put on the "Show and Tell" table. The Meeting aka "The Business" Between 2:30 to 3:00 PM I'll ask people to grab a chair and we will quickly go through any business the club has to address. Our goal is to cover the business in record time so we can get to socializing again, SO DON'T LEAVE when the "business" is done! Stick around, hang out and have some fun!

All, We’re in the first month of fall and only 30 days away from BrickCon - let the panic begin! Date: Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 Time: 1PM to 5PM Location: https://kcls.org/locations/1535/ Draft: 75972: Dorado Showdown Building /Theme Challenge: For September we’re going to the moon! Yes, I know the July would have been good for a moon / lunar lander challenge, but that would have been easy. These are challenges after all. That means we want to see moonbase MOC’s. Build some part or all of a moonbase! Hydroponics? Power plants? Habitats? Maybe even a nuclear waste side on the far side of the moon! Space: 1999 anyone! New Members Socializing is the key. So don't be shy, speak up and introduce yourself around! Let's us know if this is your first meeting. It is helpful if you bring a MOC (something you've created, built, or working on) to put on the "Show and Tell" table.
