    In case you need an excuse to eat cake on a Friday – here's one for you:

    Today, we celebrate the 64th anniversary of the LEGO® brick patent.

    On January 28, 1958 at 1.58 pm the application for the very first LEGO brick patent was filed at the Danish Directorate for Patents and Trademarks.

    And the rest is history... 🥰

    This fun day led to an early wake up call for me - a local radio station DJ that likes to support our LUG and our charitable efforts rang me for an impromptu live on air interview about the birthday of the brick!
