For our October Meetup, the theme was Patchwork Quilt. The idea was simple - everyone made some patterns on a 6 x 6 plate. Later, these were digitally stitched together to make a patchwork quilt. People enjoyed making simple pattersn, complex pattersn, paterns with bricks, plates, figs.... you name it, they made it.
This was not our idea. Many thanks to Womens Brick Initiative (WBI) who came up with this great idea. WBI ambassador Megan Lum joined us for the Meetup, as did WBI member Daneen McDermott, who came up with the idea in the first place.
