About Us
In the time before time (2009), a group of BIONICLE fans came together to create a podcast to discuss their favorite LEGO theme. After it ended in 2010, the group rebranded to become "The TTV Podcast," branching out further onto YouTube. Eventually, we donned the name that stuck - The TTV Channel.
Over the years, we branched out into a variety of different forms of content, including set reviews (including a review of every BIONICLE set ever released), discussions of story based themes (Legends of Chima, Hero Factory, NINJAGO, and more), podcasts about everyday life as well as updates in the communities we carved a name for ourselves in (The TTV Podcast, The Brickfeed Podcast, Nak & Jay, and more), and other fun and zany content of us goofing around, with and without LEGO.
We have played a heavy role in the BIONICLE community which brought us together, being a constant force for new and exciting activities such as an annual collaboration known as "MakutaFest" that ran for five years. We were at the forefront of the reboot for BIONICLE, being the foremost and most trustworthy source for news and information. In 2019, we wrote, filmed, edited, and released a movie we made in 47 days that has been described as "THE BIONICLE event of 2019." A film known as BioCraft: Chronicles. As far as BIONICLE experts go, we've got you covered.
Eventually, we branched out from BIONICLE into NINJAGO, and began one of the longest running NINJAGO podcasts known as "NINJAGOCast." We have made hit videos such as THE ULTIMATE NINJAGO RECAP, and recently we were granted the opportunity to host NINJAGO co-creator Tommy Andreasen on NINJAGOCast for his final farewell departure from the theme.
In 2020, we had the opportunity to host the final canon contests for the BIONICLE theme, with the winners of each contest being ordained as officially part of the story by LEGO author Greg Farshtey. They concluded in 2022 with the announcement of his departure from The LEGO Group.
In 2022, we decided to embark on a new endeavor. We started a brand new channel known as Keep the Piece, as way for our ever growing group of friends to branch out and focus on LEGO content that isn't BIONICLE, and to help foster an audience that comes for the brick, and not necessarily the Kanohi Mask. There we host BrickFeed, NINJAGOCast, and System LEGO set reviews, along with our REACT series covering story-driven LEGO TV shows.
Thank you for being here with us, and thank you for any support you have given or may in the future. We're excited about the future and love the LEGO hobby.
Unity, Duty, Destiny.
