Osaka University LEGO Users Group (OULUG) is the only university-based LEGO Users Group in the world to be officially recognized by the LEGO group. Managed mostly by university students, the aim of this group is to have visitors enjoy science through LEGO. 

While there are university LUGs all over Japan, OULUG’s popularity can be attributed to the variety of their activities. From holding popular biannual LEGO exhibitions, to building large-scale LEGO monuments, to organising community outreach programs in the form of LEGO workshops, OULUG has activities to enjoy for all ages and backgrounds.
